We’re thrilled to announce our new artist program and reintroduce ourselves as the only company in the world to bring you artist created designs on denim jackets.
We recognize how many people are struggling with the current state of our world. The creative community has been hit especially hard. A recent survey conducted by the advocacy group Americans for the Arts found that 95% of creative workers surveyed have lost some income due to the pandemic and almost two-thirds are fully unemployed. These staggering statistics reinforce our need to take action and do our part to help, so that’s exactly what we did.
We decided that we are not letting this pandemic bring us and our creativity down. Instead, we found a way to turn all of this chaos into a way to help lift the creative community up. We launched the world’s first and only platform to bring you artist created designs on denim jackets.
Over the past month we’ve scoured the internet to find independent artists from all over the globe, each with their own unique style and story to tell. Now we’re ready to share that with you.
Every sale from our Designed by Artists program directly supports and pays an artist. We’re working with independent artists from around the world to bring you one-of-a-kind artist created designs. With over 150 original designs you can find unique art that fits your style and help support independent artists. We want to do our part in helping artists so they’re able to continue doing what they love - creating.
We stick with what we know and what we know is denim jackets. We’ve spent 8+ months perfecting our craft so we’re able to produce the highest quality possible - unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Using the latest technology we’re able to capture insane levels of detail and print literally millions of colors!
Of course you are still able to create your own custom design using our design software. However, now you’re able to select from 150 (and counting) original artist designed jackets as well. Each piece is handmade in Chicago, one custom masterpiece at a time, meticulously hand-crafted to create a truly unique piece of wearable art.
Our mission is to do our part to help support independent artists from around the globe who are struggling now more than ever. Our initial goal is to partner with 100 independent artists and reach $100,000 in direct artist payouts.
Every big idea starts somewhere, so we are starting with 150 original designs from artists all over the world. We are just getting started and we can’t wait to see where this artist program goes as it continues to grow.
